Martin & Weyrich Moscato Allegro

We call this California sweet wine "the tall bottle".  It's a great, easy drinking crowd pleaser with tons of apricot flavor and light effervescence.

Kamiak Cellar Select

Cycles Gladiator Syrah

A lush, full California offering with enough interesting spice to round out the blackberry fruit and create a wine worthy of BBQ and gatherings.

Ridgefield Cinnamon Teal

This year it's a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cab Franc, from Washington's Sandhill Winery of the Red Mountain region.  A long-standing shop favorite everyday-priced red.

Rosenblum Cuvee 30 Zin

We've tasted dozens of under $10 Zinfandels and this is by far the best one.  You don't have to believe us.  We had a tasting event at our shop and 50 of our customers agreed.  It's a delicious red with black raspberry notes.

Bogle Petite Sirah

A California offering with great complexity, full body, wonderful fruit flavors in dark fruit.  Round and balanced, this is our first suggestion when people are looking for a smooth new red wine to drink everyday.

14 Hands Cabernet

A delicious fruit-forward value from Washington.  A favorite of many, who often find this wine on the wine list of their favorite restaurant.

It's the softness of this off-dry, easy drinking white that draws in fans to the pear flavors within.  Enjoy it with spicy Thai or Indian food, or as a relaxing addition to a picnic with fresh strawberries.

Washington's Maryhill Winery produces a wide range of selections, all of great value and quality including this fruity and smooth white.  Vanilla and peach brighten a lightly oaked palate.

Jewel Viognier

The Viognier grape isn't as obscure as it once was...today it's known for its pear and apricot flavors and bigger body than Riesling and softer character than Pinot Gris.  Great for fans of unoaked Chardonnay, too. 

This 'restaurant only' wine is full of character and flavor while remaining smooth.  Full-bodied roundness is a surprising feature of this everyday value.

Cline Red Truck

Delicious dark berry and licorice flavors are found in this well-crafted everyday blend of Petite Sirah, Cab Franc, and Syrah.  Drier than many too-fruity value reds, this is a good match for grilled hearty meats.

Latah Huckleberry D'Latah

Sweet flavors of the Northwest's indigenous wild berries are interspersed with white Riesling...pear and berry match with ample acidity to pair this wine with cheesy brunch or picnic fare.

Montes Reserve Malbec

The favorite wine at our last Chilean wines tasting event at Salut!.  Just spicy enough to add interest and character to a fruit-filled wine perfect for pairing with Mexican foods or summer BBQ.

A very delicious Cab/Merlot value!  For under $7, enjoy the juicy full body flavors of cherry and light spice.  A favorite from Washington's Yakima Valley.

Folie a Deux Menage a Trois Rouge

"This wine exposes the fresh, ripe, jam-like fruit that is the calling card of California wine. Three saucy grapes make up the blend. Sandhill Merlot

One of the best vintages ever of this release from the famed Red Mountain district of Washington's Yakima Valley.  Full of bright cherry flavors, balanced acidity, and medium-full body.

Maryhill Zinfandel

Woodward Canyon Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon

A Washington cellar-collectable classic.  Each release honors a NW wine pioneer with a wine of impressive balance, structure and complexity.  Dark cherry, oak, leather. 

Cosentino Cigarzin

Absolutely packed with plump fruit flavors, this California Zinfandel was made for pairing with Cigars, but is the perfect match for anyone who loves big bodied, smooth, fruity and dark red wines.

As close to Amarone as one can get without spending twice as much or more.  Lonardi masterfully creates this full-bodied red using partially-dried Italian grapes to bring forth jammy cassis, raisin and plum flavors.

Sandhill Cabernet Sauvignon

The 1999 vintage was listed in Wine Enthusiast's Top 100 Wines of the year.  The 2004 may be even better!  It is an impressive wine with a big, full, fruit-forward palate of black cherry along with ample integrated tannins worthy of a few years of aging.  A favorite Washington wine for Salut! .

Six Prong Red

A tremendous value!  This Washington wine is produced by famed winemaker Charlie Hoppes (of Canon del Sol, Zefina, Goose Ridge and many others).  Don't miss out on this limited release! 

We beg people to ignore the rantings of the fictional Sideways character and enjoy this full-bodied Walla Walla release.  It's delectable cherry and generous structure will make a fan of all who imbibe.
 

Boarding Pass Shiraz

Lightly oaked, the vanilla hints lie beneath a diverse palate ripe with pineapple, yellow apple, tropical fruits and refreshing acidity.  From Washington's Walla Walla region by one of the state's few female winemakers.

Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc

Crisp and clean New Zealand Sauv Blanc, full of the citrus fruit you would expect from the best Marlborough wines, along with nuanced mineral notes for pairing with fresh shellfish, seafood salads, and so much more..

DeLille D2 Red

A tremendously good cellar-candidate.  The 3rd vintage from Gibbons Lane winery of Washington filled with cassis, rich and ample tannins, a long & complex finish.  Collect a vertical in the years to come & enjoy in 2012.

Maryhill Reserve Zinfandel

A Reserve version of Maryhill's very popular Zin.  This plump and fruity wine has a crisp midsection which highlights the fun dark fruit flavors and pairs well with peppery game meats or hearty Mexican fare.

Winemaker Thomas Glaser jams loads of dark fruit into his Cab, Merlot, Syrah and blended releases from Walla Walla, Washington.  This is the highly-rated Cab Salut!'s owner shares with his father at Christmastime.

Tamarack Cellars Merlot

Ron Coleman, owner and winemaker at Tamarack, leaves structure and character in his wines from Walla Walla.  This is a wine packed with complexity and earns the description of a "thinking man's wine" to ponder.  Rated "Oustanding" by Wine Press Northwest.

Runquist Zinfandel

14 Hands Merlot

One of our best sellers and a hidden find from the "restaurant only" wines of Chateau Ste. Michelle.  You'll find this delicious entry on many wine menus throughout Vancouver's restaurants, but not in any stores (except Salut!)

Milton Park Shiraz

We featured this Australian Shiraz at our Thorn Clarke tasting earlier this Summertime, with rave reviews from our guests.  Now it's your turn to experience this fruity and full wine. 

Lo Tengo Torrontes

Argentina hinges it's reputation for white wines on the Torrontes grape...it provides plenty of citrusy fruits without the biting acidity of some Sauvignon Blancs, nor any strong grassy notes.  It's still relatively obscure as a grape, but this wine from Norton of Chile is introducing it to a wide crowd!

The Crossings Pinot Noir

Yalumba Y Series Viognier

Viognier doesn't have a set "style"...some are creamy like an unoaked Chardonnay.  Others resemble a big-bodied Pinot Gris, with abundant stonefruit flavors.  This Australian example gives you the best of both worlds, falling right down the middle!

For Americans and our economy, Chilean wines remain one of the best values.  This is the best, most authentic under-$10 Pinot Noir we've found...a perfect summertime match with just about any meal outdoors, or with salmon indoors all year 'round.

McManis Cabernet Sauvignon
